Our Year in Review

Dear Collars,

Wishing you a very Happy New Year! You have all made my 2012 so special and I can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store for the White Collar fandom!

Best wishes,

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 5,600 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 9 years to get that many views.

E-mail Update: 7/3/12

In case you never made it onto our e-mail list, the following was e-mailed out on 7/3/12:
Thank you for your interest in our second annual White Collar Fan Party at SDCC. If you attended last year, I can’t wait to see you again. If this is your first time, welcome! The following is an update on our party and some answers to frequently asked questions. Because we don’t want to spam you with e-mail, I will only send out one more e-mail as a reminder for the party shortly before July 13th. However, feel free to e-mail me or tweet me questions at any time.
When: Friday, July 13th
Where: The Lime (653 5th Avenue  San Diego, CA 92101). In walking distance from the Convention center, in the center of the Gaslamp District.
Time: 8pm
How to attend: Just show up and bring your friends!
Costumes: Come dressed in your White Collar best! Suits, ties, fedoras… we want to see it all. Get creative because our photos always make their way back to Jeff Eastin! Though we’d love to see costumes and encourage WC-inspired outfits, please note that there is no dress code for the event. We understand you’ll be coming back from a full day at Comic Con and want everyone to be comfortable.
Games and prizes: We have all new games and prizes for you this year. Come early to play, but prizes will most likely be handed out closer to 10:30pm.
“I’d Rather Be Watching White Collar” Rubber Bracelets: Thank you to those who have already ordered rubber bracelets. If you are still interested in getting one, and will be at the party, you can pick one up there for only $2. The bracelets are first come, first serve (we won’t reserve for anyone), but we have plenty left and don’t expect to run out. Again, these bracelets are only to help fund the party and for you to enjoy. No bracelet is needed to get into the party.
Party Favors: We do have a limited number of small party favors for the first handful of guests. If you’d like one, arrive early.
Note: While it’s always a possibility the cast will attend, the likelihood is very slim and we don’t want anyone to be disappointed. The White Collar cast has been really supportive of the party (taking photos for us to announce the party, etc.), but they will be in the middle of their filming schedule that weekend and will most likely not be in the area.
Again, thank you for your feedback and support. To anyone flying out, have a safe trip. We can’t wait to see you all at Comic Con!
To conquer the hardest of Cons, hire the greatest of fans.

Donate to Party Prizes!

Hey Collars! We have appreciated so much the interest and support we’ve had for the Fan Party. The party is coming up in just a couple of weeks and we are finishing last-minute plans. We know how generous and enthusiastic you are about the show and we are constantly getting questions about how fans who can’t go to the party can get involved.

This year, we would like to welcome all you fans to donate prizes for the party. Jolene and I will of course have prizes should we not get any donations, but you fans always go above and beyond and we thought this could be a cool way to be involved. Prizes can be anything your creative minds come up with. The most fun prizes are ones inspired by White Collar, or USA Network. For some suggestions, feel free to e-mail us or just look to ideas from the show.

Please don’t feel pressured to help. Our party will be filled with goodies either way. This is just a suggestion for those who have been asking for ways to help. We appreciate everyone’s excitement and anticipated attendance.

Order by 6/29/12 to get Bracelets before Comic Con

Thank you to everyone who has been ordering a White Collar Rubber Bracelet. If you still have not ordered yours, have no fear! We have plenty left and you may order one at any time. However, if you’d like to receive your order BEFORE Comic Con on July 12th, you must have your order/payment sent to us by Friday, June 29th. Send me an e-mail as soon as possible, so I can send you your order form and you can get that mailed with your payment. The payment needs to arrive by this Friday in order for us to guarantee that you’ll receive your bracelet in time for the convention.

Remember: If you are attending the convention and want to stop by our White Collar party, you don’t have to worry about shipping costs and your bracelets will only be $2 each. Furthermore, if you are not attending the convention and don’t need to have your bracelet before Comic Con, you can order yours anytime. We will continue to sell the bracelets well after the convention until our supply runs out.

Again, this only applies to people who either cannot pick up their bracelet at our party, or want to wear their bracelets at the convention before our party.
